Sean LeBeauf is a leader and an educator, with experience in strategic planning, financial management, personnel administration, marketing, public relations, academic enrichment and recruiting. Sean’s extensive leadership and communication skills combined with his high energy, integrity and enthusiasm for intercollegiate athletics, has brought him a great deal of professional success over the course of his career.
In 1994, Sean LeBeauf received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from The University of Montevallo. Following school, LeBeauf went on to accept a position with the Tulsa Public School District as a Teacher and the Assistant Head 9th Grade Basketball Coach. During his year there, Sean led the girls to the Green County District Champions. In 1998, Sean LeBeauf went on to teach and head assist the Men’s basketball team at Destrehan High School. While at Destrehan High, Sean assisted in developing students through the Algebra I Mastery Program. He also improved competency by participating in professional growth (LATAAP).
From 1999 to 2003, Sean LeBeauf worked as a teacher and both the assitant and head coach of the men’s basketball team at Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, LA. Throughout those four years, LeBeauf was responsible for teaching high school mathematics. Sean created a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. As the head basketball coach, he was responsible for coaching and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork in basketball. In both 2000 and 2001, LeBeauf led the team to District 10-5A Champions.
Later in his career, Sean LeBeauf went on to accept coaching positions at various colleges in the country. He worked as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach and dorm supervisor at Paris Junior College. He also went on the work as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Centenary College and and Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. More recently, LeBeauf worked as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Paris Junior College and the Women’s Assistant Basketball Coach at the University of Arizona.
Today, Sean LeBeauf is the proud founder of New Wave Performance. Located in Ama, LA, New Wave is a LLC organization, focused on growing the sport of basketball in the Mid-south region. With a strong club base, the association conducts regular fixtures for high school athlete development programs for varying skill levels. Sean also serves as Associate Head Coach of the Northern Colorado Bears Women’s Basketball team, previously holding the position of Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Prairie View A&M University Women’s Basketball team.
